Professional Experience

Sr. IT Manager, North American Operations – Manage North American IT Operations. Responsible for networking, telecommunications, Data Center, ERP systems, eCommerce systems, Service Desk, ITIL implementation, UNIX/Solaris and Windows platforms. Responsible for all facets of IT for manufacturing sites within North American Operations and ERP services to European and Asian Operations.

IT Manager, Data Center and Service Desk – Oversee four on-site team members and four remote tier-two team members providing support to 17 sites across North America. Coordinate support efforts with four European technical support team members in providing 24/7 support for multiple European and Asian facilities. Serve as primary point-of-contact for all security issues globally. Conduct employee performance reviews and recommend areas for improving performance. Facilitated weekly staff meetings. Manage Data Center Windows Architecture, ensuring stability and maximum uptime.

Senior Support Administrator – Supervised a team of four Support Administrators. Provided support and troubleshooting to global Wide Area Network (WAN), telecom network, order-entry applications, and manufacturing systems. Served as Security Administrator, installing, configuring and maintaining all security tools including antivirus software and spyware-removal tools. Acted as primary point-of-contact for all security issues globally. Performed security audits. Collaborated with department managers to plan annual budgets for computer upgrades and repairs. Prepared and delivered quarterly IT-strategy presentations. Installed, configured and supported routers, switches and PC/server hardware. Responded to technical support requests from onsite and remote users. Trained and mentored users in use/troubleshooting of various applications and hardware.

Information Systems Administrator – Progressed through positions of increasing technical and management responsibility. Served as Administrator of several networked systems. Implemented and managed security, antivirus and backup solutions. Installed, configured and maintained Exchange 5.5. Served as primary point of contact for all technical support issues, providing support to over 100 users.
